INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian head massage is a very old form of treatment, dating back 4000 years. It has evolved from the Indian tradition of family grooming and massage.  Barbers then developed the technique as part of their treatment. It is now seen all over India on street corners, on the beach and in markets.

It is relatively new in the UK and is usually performed by holistic therapists or beauty technicians.

The massage helps to balance the body’s chakras, in particular the crown chakra and thus has physical and spiritual healing properties.
